Learn Professional Audio Production and gain the knowledge to record
and produce your own content! In this course the student will be
recording a series of different styles of music as an audio engineer. We
will be multi-track recording artists, overdubbing, editing, mixing and
final mixing their songs.
This six-week course is designed to build the fundamentals of audio production from the ground up. No experience necessary!
The students will get hands-on experience in all aspects of the audio
production environment, using the renowned Coupe Studios in Boulder as your workspace! These recording techniques will be essential for creating great mixes and great sounding records.
Learn the process of navigating sessions, editing session media, as well as using basic processing and mixing techniques to finalize the production.
Included in the course will be all of the Pro Tools session files and
media that will accompany the course, as well as weekly mix
submissions to ensure that you are getting the proper feedback on
what you are creating.

I started out as a musician, hailing from Rochester New York and then moved to Colorado in 2003. My love for music and sound production propelled me to study Audio Production at the Art Institute of Colorado and then proceed to receive my Masters at UC Denver for Recording Arts and Post-Production. I am a multi-instrumentalist focusing mostly on drums and percussion. Currently I am playing in a number of groups along the Front Range, as well as studio recording and post-production for commercials, movies and documentaries.
